Charles Danner came west to build the best boots loggers had ever known, founding Danner in 1932 with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and a deep respect for the uncompromising landscape. At the forefront of both traditional and emerging footwear technology, Danner was the first to create a fully waterproof hiking boot in 1979 by working with GORE-TEX®.
