STONE ISLAND

STONE ISLAND

Stone Island was founded by Italian designer Massimo Osti in 1982, with the innovative new textile 'Tela Stella': made with a washed military truck tarpaulin. Osti felt that the new fabric did not fit in with his original C.P. Company label and decided to form Stone Island. Ever since, Stone Island has built itself upon the foundations of never-ending research, experimentation and function. The brand has become a global leader in textile exploration, with a history in the surface treatment of fabrics and dyeing techniques. Now headed by Carlo Rivetti, the brand continues to push the boundaries of functional sportswear with each and every season.
