Tricker's was founded in 1829 by English Cordwainer Joseph Barltrop and for almost 2 centuries the company still remains family owned and operated. Staying true to heritage traditions, Tricker's has continued their hand made and bench made operations in Northampton. The luxury footwear specialists utilize the same time honoured process of shoemaking today as they did in 1829; with skilled artisans employing over 250 specialized operations in each pair of Tricker's shoes. Tricker's is one of the few British brands appointed a "Royal Warrant" by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, the title entails the highest quality of production standards and materials across the breadth of their storied product archive.
