ULTERIOR
Founded by Daisuke Maki in 2019, ULTERIOR approaches familiar clothing through a quiet study of material, proportion, and form. Drawing from European workwear and military garments, the Japanese label introduces considered textiles, subtle irregularities, and traditional techniques to reveal new expressions within established silhouettes. Carefully developed fabrics and understated construction reward closer attention, balancing functionality with a distinct sense of texture and depth. The result is clothing that values discovery over immediacy, allowing character to emerge through wear.
